Myth 3.5/5

I feel like this story had two parts. The first was heavily focused on the actual plot that Keystone is unraveling - a missing breed baby who will probably be sold on the black market. The second is Raven's internal struggle to 'close the door' on her past, aka she regrets never having the chance to say goodbye to her father.  She struggles with including Christian in this decision, knowing she has a way to speak with her father and then erase his memory, thus having the closure she wants without endangering dear old dad. This internal arc is the main driver of the book, and you'll have to read it to find out why it's so great since I am against spoilers.

We also get the best scenes yet between Raven and Christian. They are sexy, seductive and so close to giving in to their base desires... Can't wait to read the last one and finds out what happens with them.

Magic 4/5

We've already covered this. I really like Dannika Dark's world. I love the breeds.  Christian's vampire ability to erase memories has come up throughout all three novels, and we finally see Raven start to embrace her vampire self. Mmm. It's good.

Overall 4/4

I'm really glad I stuck with this series.  Since I read all these back to back, I actually have to wait for the last book to come out, and as Violet Beauregarde would say - I want it now!

Quote that made me fist pump - Viktor shoved his plate away. “Do they not teach young girls domestic skills?” I gulped down my water. “Sorry, Viktor. They just teach us how to be doctors, lawyers, and politicians.”
