Review:

Myth: 3.5/5

Eos & Nyx have been soulbound of a year. It’s finally within their grasp to try and separate and go take back the court of the sea-fae. This book wrapped up the story nicely when it came to Eos & Nyx’s individual stories. I was a little thrown on how after sharing a soul for a year that Eos and Nyx seemed to not know each other at all. There was a tentative alignment of goals that Nyx seemed to want to try to turn into friendship, but she still had major doubts about Eos at every turn.

Since we knew that Eos would be pretty much a badass as soon as she was free, I was glad that Nyx’s skills were required to get them the tools they needed for the separation. Although we got more Eos in this book, it definitely still felt like Nyx’s story and I was rooting for her to have her moments in the spotlight.

Magic: 3/5

I liked that though Nyx was “only half-fae” she still had a part to play in the big battles. This book included fights with the big bads as well as further attempts at magical separation for Eos and Nyx, so we have fae magic flying all over the place. It made for a satisfying conclusion.

Overall: 3/5

A short and sweet ending to the Atlantis Institute for Dangerous Criminals series. This book wraps up everything that was left hanging in book two and gives us the ends we were looking for for Eos & Nyx.
