Review:

Myth: 5/5

This review won’t even touch the surface of how much I loved this book, and if you can’t tell yet, it’s going to be a rave.

This self-proclaimed Slythryn romance is absolutely that. I have to say that at multiple points during the story I took pause and thought “huh, this sounds like what the evil king or queen would do in a different fantasy story.” Though I realized that I was essentially rooting for the villains of another story, I couldn’t help it. I loved Alessandra and Kallias.

Alessandra was such a Slythryn, so ambitious, driven, calculating and ready to do what needs to be done to anyone or anything that stands in her way. Which certainly makes for a wonderful story when the person that stands in her way may be her best match.

Magic: 5/5

The magic in this story was used to cause the reader excruciating pain while they read. LOL but really, it was definitely the perfect device to amp up the sexual tension between Allessandra and Kallias and I loved it.

Overall: 5/5

I was literally done for (in the best way) with this book with the first two sentences. I’ll just share them as the summary since I think they capture the overall vibe pretty perfectly.

“They never found the body of the first and only boy who broke my heart.

And they never will.”

Go read this book now. You’re welcome.
