Review:

Myth 4/5

We return to the world of werewolves where Charles and Anna Cornick are the enforcer and the calming force. After traveling to the isolated redwood forest of California, the two werewolves are investigating the disappearance of a small, isolated makeshift village of loners and hippies.  An old, ancient presence is inhabiting the area, and the wolves will have to use all their cunning and mental strength to determine who’s an ally and who’s not in order for them to succeed.

Myth 4/5

Another unique story from Briggs - I didn’t know who the bad guy was, what he was doing or where he was coming from!  I love a mystery that I can’t figure out while I’m reading, but it did seem to get a little unnecessarily graphic at the end.  As a bonus, we get an inside look at Leah’s past as she runs away almost immediately at the start of the novel. Leah’s been an enigmatic character that I’ve also never been able to quite figure out (during either the Mercy or Alpha & Omega series), so it was nice to get a bit of depth and context for her character.

Overall 4/5

I will continue to read the Alpha & Omega series when it’s annual book comes out. I just wish the publication date was a little more frequent since it’s hard to remember all the ins and outs of each characters a year later.
