Andy was a fierce and feisty heroine. She has a lot of darkness to overcome in her past and she’s doing what she can to live her life the way she wants. Though she’s pretty badass, the story catches her on a rough go. Before she knows it her worlds turned pretty much upside down and she has to figure out who to trust and who to kill.
The vampire, were and shifter politics present their own unique twists on favorite urban fantasy supernaturals.

Andy is her own unique puzzle. Wanting to unpack her power definitely kept me turning pages. She’s unique even among her kind and that’s always my favorite.
Overall: 4/5
An action packed start to the assassin Andy’s tale. She’s not going to take anything lying down, she’s going to fight her way through any situation that she get thrown into. I’m expecting a love triangle in the next book, which I’m conflicted about, but I’ll just have to keep reading to see what happens.
