Review:

Myth: 4.5/5

I enjoyed the heck out of the first book in this series, so when book two came out I was ready to devour it. It did not disappoint. It was the same unique mix of modern day and fantasy world. Brie was a wonderful heroine, thrown into seemingly bonkers situations, but they all worked.

Magic: 4/5

The magic was so fun. This isn’t like a slow build in a character or world’s powers, its kind of anything goes which escalates random situations quickly. I love that about this fantasy world, it’s pure romcom, doesn’t take itself too seriously but has a ton of fun with any and all types of fantasy magic and characters.

Overall: 4.5/5

A quick read, but a delight from start to finish. I love Lemming’s mix of old school fantasy world and modern day language. I adored the play in this book of a heroine reading werewolf romances, while dealing with her own werewolf romance <3.

Can’t wait to see who is up next in Mead Mishaps.
