Goodreads synopsis

Review:

Myth: 4/5

It was so easy to get sucked into Hart & Mercy’s story. A grumpy and sunshine pair, that didn’t rely wholly on experiences with each other to gain new perspectives. With jobs of an undertaker and a marshal hunting the undead in a supernatural realm, anything goes.

Magic: 4/5

Though the romance was the top priority in this book, I thought that the unique world of frontier towns bordering the supernatural plane entries was very unique. The mix of the business of death with entry into the magical world was a quirky perspective from which to tell a story and I really enjoyed it.

Overall: 4/5

A story about experiencing life with the potential of looming immortality, a story about doing what makes you happy no matter how unconventional, The Undertaking of Hart and Mercy was a lovely ride.
