Goodreads synopsis

Review:

Myth: 4/5

I adored being in Ivy’s head, I think that is one of Armentrout’s trademarks, she gets you into the heroine’s head processing all the mess right along with her. Ivy is a fae hunter but wants to be more, but will she allow herself something more with her past guilt weighing her down?

Ren was the dark and dangerous kind of love interest. He was a no nonsense, knows what he wants and goes for it. While he and Ivy struggle to trust each other with all the burdens they carry, Ren was a great counter to Ivy.

Magic: 4/5

I love that the magic world seems so straight forward, fae hunters, greater fae, big challenge, and just when you think you’ve got it all figured out, Armentrout throws a grenade into your reading. It’s lovely and merciless and worth every heart wrenching second.

Overall: 4/5

The bustle of New Orleans and the fae hunters known as the Order was a mysterious world to dive into. I enjoyed every minute as Ivy and Ren navigated their feelings for each other and the danger headed their way.
