Review:

Myth: 4/5

Though the end of the previous book wasn’t exactly pain free, readers may have felt like the got off easy with Zayne’s re-appearance. I’m here to say that JLA took pleasure in ripping that feeling back away from us and toying with our emotions for almost half of the book. It’s, of course, worth the torture and things really got interesting for me when Lucifer makes his entrance. I wasn’t sure how adding such a fun character into the final book in the series would go, but I never should have doubted. Lucifer made a splash and certainly left his mark if JLA ever decides to do a series in the future.

Magic: 4/5

I really liked the Crone in this book. She’s been a unique character throughout the series, but somehow she was more fun in this book. She’s up to mischief all around but at least with seemingly decent intentions.

Overall: 4/5

Exactly what we wanted in the conclusion to the Harbinger series. The story brought closure to the main thread while also giving us a bonus family bonding and a dash of whimsical chaos with Lucifer’s involvement.
