An epic conclusion to Cat and Griffin’s story. Cat has been running from her destiny for a long time and it’s time to face the music, or the magic in this case. Cat has to dive deeper into herself than she ever has before, she has to face new challenges internal and external as she faces her self doubt and her mother.
Magic: 4/5
A Cat faces her destiny, the gods come out of the woodwork to watch and enjoy the reward of their toils and planning. From Ares to Persephone and even a trip to Tartarus, the conclusion has it all. The pantheon of greek gods lines up to watch Cat and Griffin’s final moves on the gameboard of the continent.
Overall: 3/5
The stakes for both love and betrayal have never been higher than in the conclusion of Cat and Griffin’s story. While Heart on Fire concludes their story, it definitely leaves thread open for other characters in the world to get their own stories. It’ll be interesting to see where Amanda Bouchet takes the world next.
