Goodreads synopsis

Review:

Myth: 3/5

I had a really hard time getting past the first chapter in this book. It seemed completely out of line and I was super sure as I was reading it that it had to be Cat’s nightmare or something (it wasn’t). That just put a slight taint on the rest of the book for me.

However, book two does throw in both a magical quest and competition so lots of adventure to be had for Cat and the team.

Magic: 4/5

The combination of fantasy world with the greek pantheon of gods is so much fun. Cat’s quest in this story plays through a few elements of greek mythology stories as well.

Overall: 3/5

A quest to protect her new home and a push to claim her future title, Cat must open up to her new family like never before. Plenty of action and intervention from the pantheon of gods, Cat and Griffin have their work cut out for them.
