Goodreads synopsis

Review:

Myth: 5/5

This book was delicious from start to finish, I devoured it whole. I couldn’t get enough of each and every character. They were uniquely poised and carefully placed. They had all the potential in the world and they had inescapable obstacles to deal with.

Dark academia is definitely a thing, the magical study, the philosophy, the personalities. It was endlessly entertaining to watch each character decide on alliances, dalliances, deceptions and more.

Magic: 5/5

“Was there such thing as too much power”

The six students selected to enter the Alexandria Society are the most powerful in the world. Some with different specialties, some of their magics united in different ways.

Overall: 5/5

With six characters and six magical powers to play with there are seemingly endless possibilities in how to tell the story. Let’s just say that Olivie Blake picked the exact correct one.
