Calladia and Astaroth are my kind of couple. Strong personalities, big enemies to lovers energy, and the jagged parts of each fit so nicely with the other. It was adorable. We got a little time in Glimmer Falls, but most of this book sends the duo into the woods. It was a fun mix of hiking, questing, fighting, and falling in love.
Magic: 4/5
Calladia’s magic is strong, and I love her string/knot working. Astaroth, though we know he’s strong, is a little bit helpless for a lot of the book.
Overall: 4/5
A fun witch and demon pairing! If you like strong personalities clashing, definitely enemies to lovers, but also pretty no-nonsense relationship communication, this book is for you!
