Review:

Myth: 4.5/5

This was so many of my favorite things. The thief and the princess, the capability for evil vs being a monster, finding ways to take small steps forward, because really, what else can be done? Ana and Ramson were a delight from start to finish, each internal thought better than the next.

Magic: 4.5/5

Ana’s magic really builds, and this is just the first book! I am also a sucker for the story of what can be done with the magic vs what the character wants to do with it. Just because she has the capability to be the Blood Witch and murderer, does that mean it’s who she has to be?

Overall: 4.5/5

An empire on the verge of revolution from the subjugation of those with magic. A princess trying to get back to her throne, to right the wrongs she sees. And a thief looking for revenge, willing to use anyone he has to to get it. The characters are amazing and the story definitely keeps you moving. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
