Goodreads synopsis

Review:

Myth: 3/5

The second installment in the Four Horsemen brings War. This was a little harder than Pestilence to root for, because at the end of the day, War is here to bring his namesake. It’s the same struggle that the main character, Miriam has, but it was a little too cyclical for my liking.

Magic: 3/5

War’s powers were interesting, playing with opposites of his mission on Earth. I did like this connection between the brothers, powers to bring their purpose and to undo it. This book highlights some of the Horsemen themes that carry across the books.

Overall: 3/5

It liked it, but I wasn’t super into the characters or the rest of the thread tying the stories together. I don’t think I’ll continue the series.
