Goodreads synopsis

Review:

Myth: 3/5

The conclusion of the Bargainer series brings the dark threats that have been looming throughout the series to a head. Equal parts Des and Callie trying to enjoy their life together and the Thief trying to interrupt. Callie really gets to take her place both as the Night King’s partner and as a leader in her own right.

Magic: 3/5

Callie’s siren magic continues a slow build throughout the series. In each book Callie learn a little more about what she can do and a little more about what she’ll allow herself to do. Really leaning into one of her first asks of Des when he told her, “we are someone else’s nightmare.”

Overall: 3/5

A well earned happily ever after for Des and Callie. They have more trials to go through in Dark Harmony, but their love and trust for each other is absolute. It’s definitely a fitting end to the Bargainer series.
