Goodreads synopsis

Review:

Myth: 4.5/5

Victoria and Ilryth were a fun pair, brought together by their bargain, knowing that their lives would never be the same after. Ilryth definitely had some mermaid vibes from the Disney movie, which was fun. Victoria and Ilryth were also both very prim and proper, a la Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennett. Victoria’s story was one of self-discovery in the midst of losing herself. It was very unique magic and a very intriguing concept.

Magic: 4.5/5

Diving into the deeps with the sirens was a really unique adventure. I enjoyed how the magic to bring a human into that world was thought through. This story was also the first in the Married to Magic series that gave more world history. The magic and order of the world were explained further while still fully focusing on Victoria and Ilryth’s story.

Overall: 4.5/5

A beautiful story filled with magic, siren, and learning that it's okay to evolve as a person, to change from who you were, to appreciate your past without letting it shape your future.
