A messy revenge seduction on both sides. I loved how true this story stuck to the disaster that is Aphrodite and Hephestus. Starting with an arranged marriage and leading to revenge seduction that gets complicated quickly, the four main characters finding their way in this polyamorous knot were a delight.

Like the other books in this series, it’s about the political machinations of the 13 who rule Olympus. A supernatural barrier around the city is mentioned, but it is a longer-term plot point, not part of this immediate story.
Overall: 4/5
A little more of the big plot, a lot more of Aphrodite, Adonis, Hephestus, and Pandora. This was definitely a marry first, feeling later story, and the anger at the oncoming feelings was just wonderfully done.
