This is a prequel novella in Katee Robert’s Dark Olympus world. A short and sweet romance between Medusa, the assassin and Calypso, her intended target. Nothing is fair in Olympus, and Calypso being the target hit is no different. Medusa and Calypso’s instant connection makes the more difficult than it already was.

Like Katee Robert’s other Dark Olympus stories, these are definitely reimaginings, not retellings of classic myths. I do love how she plays with the parts of the character’s mythological stories, but then makes them wholly her own and tosses them to the wolves in her Dark Olympus world. It was super easy to root for Medusa and Calypso.
