I think the Wicked Villains series is so fun, the villain gets the happily ever after from classic Disney stories. It may not be Hades & Persephone, but this retelling plays with Hades and Meg as King and Queen of the Underworld and the earnest Hercules joining their pair. This is Katee Robert and Hades and Meg run a BDSM club, so expect explicit sex, but it’s also a really sweet romance of a couple that’s having trouble communicating, expanding to a throuple. Add a dash of Carver City and Olympus politics and we’ve got a delightful read.

Hades, Hercules and Meg all have lessons to learn. As the second book in the series, this one also gives a lot more teasers for the rest of the series. You start to see the other characters in power in Carver City and get just enough of their backstory to make you eager for their book.
