Sleeping Beauty is forever my least favorite fairy tale, but I have to say I really enjoyed the plays with traditional aspects of the story but throwing them into this wholly different one. I loved finally getting to learn Aurora’s bargain, and I was so excited that she got to find her person, after watching so many around her find theirs. A revenge story not ending anywhere how she imagined, with strong women and the ability to see situations from new perspectives.

A new play on the “I came here to kill you,” story and I was here for it. After all the couples and throuples we’ve seen spend some play time with Aurora, I’ve really just been waiting for her to get her happily ever after.
