Goodreads synopsis

Review:

Myth: 3.5/5

I just get sucked in to a good cozy mystery, especially one with witches and a cat familiar. Alistair is definitely a furry delight, causing mischief and helping Anna solve her first murder mystery. Anna stumbles into this magical mystery, but quickly finds herself wrapped up in the town and the people. A small town, old family drama and old and new friends make this cozy mystery series a fun one to pickup.

Magic: 3.5/5

Witch’s Cat Mystery gives you a lot of what you need to know. This series is cozy mysteries, with witchy roots. So you’ll see plenty of witchcraft, think rituals, and focus, closer to new age magic (but the characters won’t like it if you classify it that way).

Overall: 3.5/5

This pretty much checks all the cozy mystery boxes, with a big dose of paranormal. Small town characters all in each other’s business, at least one scene in the small town book store, the new girl in town poking her nose into a mysterious death that hasn’t sat right with anyone. A Familiar Tail kicks off Anna and Alistair’s partnership in what’s sure to be an entertaining cozy mystery series.
