Goodreads synopsis

Review:

Myth: 3/5

Annabelle and Alastair are back again with another cozy mystery. Anna has stuck around in Portsmouth, learning about her witchy heritage and even invited her grandma to visit. Before you know it, Anna finds herself neck deep in another murder mystery. Expect lots of twists and turns as Anna and her coven try to solve the case and keep suspicion off their friends.

Magic: 3/5

Anna is officially in training, which means she needs supervision for all her magical tricks. It was also interesting to see the challenge between Anna’s mentor and Anna’s grandma, two women with strong personalities and a lot of baggage between the two of them.

Overall: 3/5

Another magical feline mystery. Alastair is just as charming as the first book as he silently and magically helps Annabelle with her magic and her murder mystery. Anna and her familiar make quite the pair, getting into trouble and scraping their way out!
