I was obsessed after A Deadly Education, and this book left me in the same predicament. El has her alliance, she has friends, and she’s on her way toward graduation. We knew she’d never make it without the whole school finding out what kind of badass she is though. Chaos ensues as the school works to right its wrongs, and El, Orion, and their friends are along for the ride.
Magic: 5/5
The school is still its own character, and I adore it. Expect lots more of what we already saw in book 1.

If you like the scary, weird girl finding friends and learning to deal with feelings while also taking on a school intent on killing it’s students, leaving them on a Hunger Games-esq fight for survival, then this series is for you!
