Review:

Myth: 4/5

A cozy fantasy, a brief escape from the world, I adored Legends and Lattes. Who would have thought that something as simple a introducing the concept of a coffee shop (with pastries) to a high fantasy world could be so charming? The characters were engaging, the story was tight, and the stakes were quite low, but I kept going back for more!

Magic: 4/5

High fantasy characters, orcs, succubi, and more. The truly unique part of this story is how they interact in this slice-of-life coffee shop. The world is fantastic, and the legend around Viv’s artifact certainly has magic at play. Enjoy being whisked away for a good cup of coffee in a magical land.

Overall: 4/5

Have I said that this story was cozy? LOL. Enjoy the delivery of the tagline, “High Fantasy, Low Stakes,” as you get a good dose of what it means to find your place in the world when you’re trying to start over. Imagine Gilmore Girl’s Luke’s Diner, but in the middle of a fantasy village.
