Xingyin’s story was enchanting. A lot of travel through a world of immortals (on clouds!), this book was really sweeping in scope of introduction to the Celestial Kingdom. It was so enchanting as it moved us through the world! I was hooked by Xingyin’s situation, and her non-negotiables in life. She was a wonderful heroine.

Celestial magic, magical battles (Xingyin is a magical warrior), and deadly courts — this book really had it all.

I devoured book one and have book two on my shelf ready to pick up!
