Review:

Myth: 5/5

This book was a devastating delight. The character development of everyone after the tragic ending of book one was impeccable, but of course, for they have to stay together for one more expedition. I love the fascinating cast of characters, everyone with their own story and everyone with their own journey, but so well interwoven.

Magic: 5/5

As book two in the series, Silvered Serpents unpacks more of the lore of the Fallen House. It also amps up the Forge magic that we see, both as the team works their final job and as the Order pours in around them.

Overall: 5/5

The writing was lyrical. Every word was so perfectly chosen. I listened to most of this as an audio book but had to switch to a physical copy for the last few chapters so I could consume it faster. Séverin’s journey is beautiful, I can’t wait to see how the series wraps up.
