Goodreads synopsis

Review:

Myth: 4/5

I continue to find Roshani Chokshi a master of words, her descriptions, her wit, her untangling of complex emotion just left me wanting more of each sentence. The streets of Venice made a wonderful conclusion to this trilogy. More history, more lush atmosphere and plenty of character growth.

Magic: 4/5

I feel like the fun of this book and series has always been the mythology and the heist vibes, though the characters are chasing the divine and magical forging has its place in the world, more of the magic to me is in the history of the world.

Overall: 4/5

A satisfying conclusion, to the divine chase. There weren’t as many twists and turns in this book as the group made their way to their goal, but the tensions mounted all the same. I loved Séverin, Enrique, Laila, Hypnos and Zofia dearly, each so unique in what they brought to the team and the story.
