If you loved book one, you will devour the epic conclusion to the Cardplay Duology. It has more of all of your favorite characters (cough cough: Ellen & Iori). It has the full set of card suits united to face the void and inkblots! It has more heart than you can handle, every character, not just Ellen.
Magic: 4/5
A culmination of the assembly of the card suits, Bleeding Heart brings back the full cast to face down their demons. The human ones gone rogue, as well as the magical entities in the extreme. With lots of turns and plenty of scenes to rip your heart out, this book really brings the big bang for the finale.
Overall: 4/5
I don’t know how many times I can say that this book has heart! It’s a theme, its very present imagery, its character arcs. Please enjoy!
