A powerful conclusion to Keris and Zarrah’s story, The Endless War, gives these characters the chance to figure themselves out. The first part of this story feels like a season of the tv show Survivor. It’s filled with survival instinct, tribe mentality, and unknown prison rules. We go from the island prison to the cities of kings and empresses as Keris and Zarrah fight for the peace they both want and for each other.

Zarrah’s internal journey in this book was so intriguing! She’s been a pawn for years and now she fights to separate what ideas are her own versus which are the plants of others. This is a unique obstacle for her and Keris as they try to bring peace between their kingdoms.
