Review:

Myth: 5/5

My absolute favorite thing about this series is that Feyre is made High Lady when everyone has told her that “High Ladies don’t exist.” As High Lady, to save her family and court, she sends herself back into the Spring Court. She lets Tamlin believe everything he wanted to, that Rhys had somehow controlled her mind, that she was stolen from him, not that she left on her own. She has a score to settle, not just with Tamlin but with the high priestess who sold her sisters out to Hybern.

This book covers so much ground. From the Spring Court, to gathering of armies and the epic conclusion. It has everything you could possibly want. Feyre and Rhys are perfect together. They give each other the space to do what needs to be done, fighting fiercely as individuals and as a unit for the future of which they dream.

Feyre’s sisters are a great addition in this book. As they were forced to turn into High Fae, they have their own internal and external battle to fight. Nesta’s character is so compelling that the next book in the series will be from her perspective.

Magic: 5/5

This is one of those epic conclusions where all your favorite characters get their chance to shine. Feyre and Rhys continue to kick everyone’s ass and the magic of the courts is on full display.

Overall: 5/5

The perfect conclusion to a beautiful and epic trilogy. I am glad that SJM is not done with the characters or world yet, but this story gave us the fierce battle, fiery love and found family that we wanted for Feyre.
