Lover Eternal (Black Dagger Brotherhood #2) by J.R. Ward

Review:
Myth: 3.5/5
The second installment of the Black Dagger Brotherhood focuses on Rhage. We’ve seen the beast emerge from Rhage in a fight and we’ve some understanding that he’s a hit with women. Everything we know about Rhage is quickly tipped on its head as this story dives into his curse.
Mary is a human with her own battles. A survivor, a fighter, she looks after herself and doesn’t want help from others. Though fiercely independent and unwilling to lean on others, she has a heart to help those in need.
Magic: 4/5
Rhage’s beast was a fascinating point in the first story and a delight to dive into. As we get to know the brothers a little more I’m also really eager to figure out V’s story as the family prophet and of course dying to know what Zsadist and Phury’s twin deal is.
Overall: 3.5/5
Another building installment in the Black Dagger Brotherhood world, this one did leave us on a bit of a cliffhanger so I’m eager to jump into the next book to see what happens next.
