Goodreads synopsis

Review:

Myth: 3.5/5

A mystical sea town, seemingly existing to host the theatre, was the perfect vibe for this story. Aria is driven by her goals but not locked into them, she’s adaptable and learns quickly, which makes her a great heroine. I didn’t feel the chemistry between Aria and Uriah, especially in their early scenes, it was more of a build over the course of the story.

Magic: 4/5

Mystical music and theatre that are somehow (magically) the life of the town? Sign me up. I don’t feel like I can say too much more here without spoilers, but they mystery of the magic kept me guessing until the end.

Review: 3.5/5

A magical retelling of phantom of the opera. The world building and magic seem to be exactly what the original was missing.
