Goodreads synopsis

Review:

Myth: 3.5/5

Meg and Basil have an adorable chemistry, with Meg’s no-nonsense approach to get things done set against Basil’s contemplated scholarly ways. They are not what each other expected, but that makes for fun moments and sweet character growth as they use each other’s strengths to fight the bad guys.

The mayhem that is the story of Midsummer Night’s Dream makes a delightful backdrop for Meg and Basil’s story. Made complete with a cackling Puck yelling “what fools these mortals are…”

Magic: 3.5/5

The chaos you expect from Puck, King Oberon and Queen Titania, with the added bonus of mythical monsters and mayhem breaking through the thinning barrier between courts.

Overall: 3.5/5

This was a really cute take on a Midsummer Night’s Dream retelling (with added characters). Tara Grayce pulled in those traditional elements from past fae stories with plenty unique twists and characters to make it her own.
