Review:

Myth: 4/5

Earthbound demons, magicians, oh my! This was a fast paced story from start to finish. Cady was a delightful kick-ass heroine and quickly fell in love with her laying low, owner of a tiki bar vibes. I was thrown for the first delightful loop when the love interest was a demon (duh), and single dad. They had great chemistry as they tried to navigate each other and track down a demon to prove Cady’s parents innocent of the accused crimes.

Magic: 4/5

There was a lot of rich world building from Cady’s life running a demon bar, or the history of Earthbound demons and occult groups. Things got most interesting when no one wanted to ‘stay in their lane’ as in Earthbound demons practicing magick or magicians going outside of the group’s guidelines.

Overall: 4/5

Everything came together for an action packed adventure and an urban fantasy world in which I’ll certainly read another story.
