Goodreads synopsis

Review:

Myth: 3.5/5

I really felt like Eva was able to take back the story in book 3. She’s definitely still lost in the supernatural world, but she’s trying to find her way through it as opposed to letting it drag her around. This story takes us on a whirlwind trip around part of Europe, each location fitting nicely with the magical characters that occupy it.

I liked getting more of a peak into Adrian’s head with his own chapters, but I found it hard to sympathize with his positions with the way the story is written for the cliffhanger ending. You can make me appreciate his position or you can have a very dramatic ending, but unfortunately, I didn’t feel like both really hit. But as was proven in Wicked Sun, I’m sure we’ll understand his motivations better in the next book.

Magic: 4/5

Wicked Sun kicks the magic up from vampires to supernaturals. I love the expanding supernatural world and can’t wait to figure out more about it.

Overall: 3.5/5

Eva’s chapters are so direct, fierce and fast paced. I fell quickly and easily into her POV and thought she developed a lot as a main character. With an expanding magical world to play in, I’m excited to see what she gets into in the next book.
