A mix of human fueled time travel and secret family line powers the monsters of the world have plenty of magic to explore. Joan is thrust into the world in the darkest of ways, left to find her way with only her guilt and a rival family member to guide her.
Overall: 4/5
I loved the play between hero and villain, what makes one? and does one make the other? A super interesting time travel world is developed as well, complex and well done. I can’t wait for more.
