I listened to the audiobook, and I have to say that performance was astounding. There were chapters where my chest constricted, where panic set in, and where my heart melted. The pacing was exceptional, the character development— flawless, and the heat was high.

The magic scales in book two. As much as we learn, we have a million more questions—and we love it.
