Evelyn and Bowen were just adorable. They were both big softies trying to find their way in the world with what they know (or think they know). Its definitely one of the softest couples I’ve read from Katee Robert, but it was definitely cute.
Magic: 4/5
I liked the Cŵn Annwn or wild hunt mythology. This was a fun twist on it. The world had a lot of different types of magic; it didn’t seem like it had many limits, but that doesn’t bother me.
Overall: 4/5
It's a pretty sweet story with a dash of pirate adventure and a bit of magic, but really, it’s about questioning the world around you and ensuring you can live with your decisions when you have answers.
