Review:

Myth: 5/5

While Alizeh finds herself trying to unravel the king of Tulan, Kamran struggles to put together a real picture of what happened at the end of book one. This story must have only taken place over possibly a single day, the aftermath, but its so poignant, so striking in every detail that it provides.

I was in love with the Alizeh/Cyrus storyline at the end of book one and book two did not disappoint in it’s delicious torture.

Magic: 5/5

Book two starts to dive deeper into both the magic that Alizeh was promised while also seeing the magic in Tulan and the terrible power of the devil. So much more is unveiled, and so much remains to be seen!

Overall: 5/5

This book is exquisitely written. I really have no other words. I was entranced by every scene, every sentence. I never wanted it to end, but alas, now I’m counting down the days until February 2024.
