Best Cozy Paranormal Romances

I read The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches and couldn’t get enough of the feeling that it gave me. To para-quote Samwise, “…there’s some good in this world….and it’s worth fighting for.” The characters just wanted a space to exist and someone to care about them, and you know what? They found their HEAs.

I just wanted more of this feeling, so I went on a cozy paranormal romance romp. Below are my findings and favorites.

The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna

Goodness, this book started it all and I can’t recommend it enough. A wonderful heroine, existing in the only way she knows how meets unique found family. Add a grumpy sunshine romance and swoon.

The Undertaking of Hart And Mercy by Megan Bannen

Undertakers fall in love too! A quirky romance with misunderstanding, secret pen pals and adorably fiesty mail delivery animals. Hart and Mercy have a special dose of both enemies to lovers and grumpy sunshine energies.

Witchful Thinking by Celestine Martin

A sweet friends to lovers romance with a dash of missed opportunities. Lucy, a witch with a lot of magic, but finds herself in the completely relatable situation of not having the daily motivation to chase her dreams. Enter magical solutions and more magic means more problems.

A Ghost in Shining Armor by Therese Beharrie

Both Gemma and Levi are in need of some self-reflection. The powers of the universe conspire to throw them into each other’s path just as they need it most. Gemma learns to stand up for herself, set her own boundaries and what purpose this ability to see ghosts really has in her life.

Willa’s story starts at rock bottom. Fleeing her problems and starting fresh. But you can never really leave all the problems behind, Willa has to find her own wants and learn to express them, add a dash of mer-people and a dark and stormy love interest.
