Review:

Myth: 4.5/5

What a fantastic introduction to the gods and rulers of the Kethran Empire. I have had this book on my TBR for ages and now I can’t believe I waited so long. I will start the next in the series ASAP. The world building is epic in scale, so book one focuses on a mysterious illness plaguing the empire while weaving a lot of bigger threads for the series.

A compelling romantic plot also captivated me. Mystery and secrets surround both characters but their chemistry is spot on.

Magic: 4.5/5

I love the mysterious magic, so much to learn about the divinely marked and so much to learn about Casia, this is truly like catnip for me.

Overall 4.5/5

Compelling characters, a mysterious magical world on the verge of big change, two characters trying to stay away from each other but drawn together like magnets. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
