Goodreads synopsis

Review:

Myth: 4.5/5

Rasmira was an easy heroine to love. She is just coming of age, trying to fit into the mold her father wants, but trying to find her way as a woman in a traditionally mens profession. You just know that part one is setup for heartbreak (see story synopsis) but you still feel it right along with Rasmira.

The boys in the wild are a delight, showing off Rasmira’s opportunities for growth while providing effortless entertainment to the reader.

Magic: 4/5

While Rasmira doesn’t truly have magic, it’s really cool to watch her plan and execute. Once she sets her sights on accomplishing something, she is very practical and tactical. She finds weaknesses, makes plans and move right along to the next project.

Overall: 4.5/5

A short and sweet YA fantasy with a strong female coming of age story. Rasmira has a lot to learn but certainly didn’t deserve the hand she was dealt. Finding herself if the wild, unexpected to survive, she relies on her skill and determination to make the right choices for her future.
