Review:

Myth 5/5

Oh ho ho (yes that’s on purpose - it’s set at Christmas time!), a lot changes in this book! Rue learns things about her own past she never knew that shake her (and Asa) to the core. New, fabulous characters are introduced. We get even more of an inside scoop on Ada’s relationship with his demon father. All I can say is Protect Your Hands!

Magic 5/5

Yes, these new characters come with new magics! We travel outside of our safe haven again - and both Rue and Asa get their chance to shine. Plus, Asa’s demon half is adorable - despite the lack of sexy moments between him and Rue, it’s almost better when he’s around.

I couldn’t relate more to this quote:

“I was sprawled on my bed, sulking with a book about a turkey shifter and a cranberry farmer that made me question if my dark tastes had gone too far.”
