Goodreads synopsis

Review:

Myth: 4/5

Returning to the world of Elfhame, Suren makes for as determined and delightful a heroine as Jude. Living in a self-exile in the human world, she’s as likely to lash out at her companions as wonder why her heart flutters from perceived kindness.

Magic: 4/5

I can’t say for sure, because I don’t remember all the details of Folk of the Air, but it seems like we got to explore a lot more courts of faerie in this book than in others. Lots of familiar legends with new twists; the courts do not disappoint.

Overall: 4/5

Mixing Suren’s wildness with Oak’s courtly wiles makes for an enchanting story. All the courtly intrigue and power plays we’ve come to expect from Elfhame. Oak and Suren forge their own story.
