Goodreads synopsis

Review:

Myth: 3/5

The storytelling held essentially two separate character stories for the same timeline, this was broken down into separate parts, the first part told Thorn & Thistle’s story and the second part told Lucien’s. I think this would have worked better for me had they been interspersed chapters instead of separate parts, as when you met Lucien you almost immediately have to jump back in time to hear his version of events.

The characters were interesting and the world was a unique post-apocalyptic multiverse. There was definitely a lot of play with the enemies to lovers romantic pairings, but I had a hard time getting into the chemistry between characters.

Magic: 3/5

A post-apocalyptic like setup for humans, but a technology forward world for the Suriias, These Violent Nights had unique world building and magic.

Overall: 3/5

An interesting read, I enjoyed the overall story and especially the conclusion. The main characters of each section (Thorn & Lucien) really stole the show in this world of magic, control and destruction.
