The Night Rebel series follows the Law Guardian, Veritas and her journey with everyone’s favorite bad boy, Ian, as they hunt down a deadly demon. This follows the events from the Night Prince series.

Veritas made enigmatic appearances in both the Night Prince and Night Huntress Series. A law guardian with hidden talents and sympathies. She’s a compelling heroine as we learn more about her in the first Night Rebel book.
In the Night Prince series, we knew she was hiding something, but no one was willing to dig into what that was as long as she was a Law Guardian. It would take someone with no fear or appreciation for that title to truly get behind her pretenses. Enter Ian.
Magic: 4/5
I’ve really enjoyed how magic continued to develop in the Night Huntress world. Each book seems to introduce new concepts, but concepts that certainly fit in with what we’ve learned thus far. We were introduced to Denise, a demon branded shapeshifter very early in the series, but didn’t really start to explore the world of demons and magic until the Night Prince books.
Now we get to pair the rogue Ian, with the Law Guardian with a secret and see them light up the demon underworld with magic and more.
Overall: 4/5
I can’t wait for more.
