Book Bloggers Novel of the Year Awards 2021

BBNYA is an annual Indie book award hosted and judged completely by book bloggers from all over the world!

Sponsored by the Folio Society, the maker of beautiful illustrated collectible editions of the world’s great works of fiction and non-fiction.

Our goal is to give under appreciated, lesser known Indie authors a chance to make themselves known without being overshadowed by the big names, but also show the world the power of book bloggers!

2021 was the first year I participated as a panelist! It was a lot of fun and while you’ve likely seen some of the blog tours for the finalists and winner, we wanted to showcase all the fun reads from BBYNA in one place.

WINNER - May Day by Josie Jaffrey

I am forever indebted to BBNYA for introducing me to Josie Jaffrey and the Seekers. After May Day, I immediately jumped into Judgement Day and have started poking around Jaffrey’s other works in the Silververse.

Vampire detectives, murder mystery, sexy romance, this literally checks every box for me. As a bonus, it takes place in Oxford, England, which really makes it just :chef’s kiss:

A world of court intrigue above and below the water, Beneath Cruel Fathoms weaves a tale of human and merpeople co-existence. Uncovered histories and secrets and a sweet romance keep you turning page after page.
