Goodreads Synopsis

Review:

Myth: 5/5

If faerie is on the brink of war, I’d expect Toby Daye to be no where else then right in the middle of the chaos. She’s proven herself willing to go to any length to right wrongs and the children from the underwater kingdom being stolen is definitely a wrong. The stakes are raised when more personal kidnappings are brought in and the escalating tensions would put her and her current lover on opposite sides. This is definitely a big bang of a story, tensions high Toby is in the middle of it all with her allies seeing if she can stop the catastrophe before it starts.

Magic: 5/5

Toby is still sort of reeling from her heritage reveal in Late Eclipses, but that doesn’t mean that she won’t be put through the ringer on her shifted blood sooner rather than later.

Overall: 5/5

Toby has to put it all on the line to try and stop a fae war. She calls on the amazing cast of characters so far built, she doesn’t pull any punches as she does what needs doing. I continue to love Toby Daye and the urban fantasy fae world of San Francisco.
