Review:

Myth: 5/5

Ash and Janvier have been on the fringes of a few stories up to this point. Ash is a guild hunter, friend to Elena and Honor and only one vampire has ever given her a run for her money. Janvier.

We’re already rooting for this couple on page one. They’ve been hunting or working together over the last four years but still unable to declare their feelings for one another. They most recently teamed up with Naasir to go behind enemy lines in the Archangel battle in New York.

As we’ve come to expect in the Guild Hunter world, Ash has her own dark past. It’s because of those secrets that she’s been trying to keep Janvier at arms length, but the sexy Cajun vampire has his own plans.

Magic: 5/5

Though all of the guild hunters are powerful in their own right, Ash has powers beyond hunting and tracking. When powerful immortals are manipulating and attacking those that they think no one will miss, Ash is able to learn their story and make sure they get justice.

Overall: 5/5

Another great installment in the Guild Hunter world. With each book Singh gives more depth and backstory while continuing to push the timeline forward.
